Buzz Word of the Day

I've seen this word, even though it isn't a word, pop up from time to time. Once, describing how the new Mexican president is more "wonkish" than Vincente Fox. Another about Sen. Edwards and his "non-wonkish" ways. Was Willy Wonka into politics? Maybe he had to be, to stifle the Oompa Loompa attempts to unionize.

If anyone can tell me what it means, I'll be sure to put into my next school assignment, so as to sound up with the times. Because, I'm obviously not, and need the help.

*as an update on the finals, Univ. 'o Oregon failed to get past Univ. of Florida, so no final there. I did however squeak out two A's, each in Soc. and Psy. For the last final, as it turns out, my CNA final will not be until Apr. 21. That will be the final, final... for now anyhow.

I am told, this actually just happened very recently...

Final, Final and Final, then Final Four?

Tomorrow I have my winter term final in Sociology. It's gonna be rough. The teacher is a Ph.D and is the head librarian. She has tough standards. I'm holding a solid B, but it could go either way with tomorrows performance.

Then, the next day I have my Psychology final. It should be easier, hopefully. The deal is we are to be emailed our essay question in the afternoon. Prob is, I have to work all damn day. I'll have 1 hour to bust it out, print it, and ship it. Then I get to take the test, with zero cram time. Kinda pissed about the scheduling thing. What can I do though?

And then next week Tuesday, I have my CNA graduation, assuming I pass that final. But that'll be a cinch.

And if all goes well, UO will ascend in the annuls of NCAA hoops, and demolish UNLV, and then crush the Florida Gators (the second match up will be tougher) to reach the Final Four. If they make it that far, they are for sure shoe ins to take it all.
And granted, I'm no UO alum or attendee so I can't rightfully claim rights, I however will say my school, the famed Southwestern Oregon Community College does, truly, have a cool logo though. And that's what counts most.
